When assessing and treating birds a different set of skills is required to those used to assess mammalian species. All our vets are competent at diagnosing and treating diseases in birds although most of our bird consultations are done by Mark Wiseman.

Mark has spent time in the UK working with species such as penguins, flamingos and large parrot species as well as the more usual pet species such as budgies and cockatiels. Mark has completed a post-graduate course on avian medicine.
