For us to ensure we keep safe and be able to continue to provide veterinary care for you fur babies we have had to make some tough decisions. These are as follows:

ALL visitors must now wear a mask in the clinic (& staff). If you have a mask exemption, please call us when you arrive but remain in your vehicle, we will come out to meet you and help with your enquiry.

If you are coming in for consultation or admission appointment, you must be vaccinated to enter the consulting rooms. If you are not vaccinated, we will still see your pet, but it will be a non-contact consult (like in level 4).

Only one person per pet is strongly encouraged to attend the consultation during this time and we won't be able to carry out any home calls. Also, we won't be accepting any visitors for our hospitalised patients.

If you call afterhours we will also ask for your vaccination status. If you are not vaccinated, then the vet will need to bring a nurse with them and additional charges will apply.

We encourage you to call and order products from us in advance, we can then have them put aside for you to decrease our contact time. Alternatively, you can order on line from us at https://shop.vetmarlborough.co.nz/. We are already starting to have some supply issues, so again calling in advance may prevent an unrequired trip to see us.

These rules have been put in place to help protect our staff and allow us to continue seeing you & your pets going forward. Thanks for your understanding.

We look forward to seeing you soon,

Stuart Burrough and the Vet Marlborough team
